Childcare Tips is an independent parent-facing activity repository at childcare.tips. Each tip is an original hands-on shelf invitation — materials, short try-this steps, and one warm why-it-matters — inspired by play-based / hands-on shelf practice. Tips are written mainly for ages 3–6, with a few adaptable toddler ideas.
Activities are tagged to public learning goals from Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Framework (holistic goals such as Well-Being, Play and Playfulness, Communication and Literacies, and Diversity and Social Responsibility). Labels are for orientation only — this is not a screening tool and not medical advice.
Stable activity ids mean other apps can deep-link into a tip later. The site ships on its own; it is not a Seahorse skin and does not require an educator login.
